Would you buy the produce even if you didn’t have a coupon?  If the answer is yes, then clip the coupon and use it. If the coupon is for an item that you don’t normally purchase, don’t clip the coupon. Do you have to travel out of your way to a special store to use the coupon?  If so, you are spending more money on gas than you will save by using the coupon. Sometimes, stores will honor their competitor’s coupons. See if the store that you shop at does this.
